About Us
BSMT254 is an underground music venue & event space that presents music of every kind on our top ranked sound system.
Since staging our first show in 2019 we’ve consistently given Torontonians a glimpse of what’s bubbling beneath its glitzy surface, and exposed them to the sounds we really think they should get down with.
Whether you’re a promoter, performer or reveller, if you’re about good music and community, you’re welcome down here with us.
Live Performances
The venue is equipped with a removable short riser stage (link to digital rendering of stage
dimensions) on which we’ve fit up to 9 musicians (though that was tight!)
Bookings for live shows include the services of one of our professional in-house audio
technicians as well as access to all our audio & backline equipment.
We have both LED & Incandescent stage lighting. View our lighting spec sheet here.
Audio/Video recordings and Live Streaming of concerts available.
Tables and chairs are available for seated concerts, though seating does affect capacity.
DJ Events
Removal of the stage is possible to expand the dance floor.
Bookings for DJ-centric events come with access to:
- industry standard DJ equipment
- lighting (motion & static) and disco ball
- custom-built Higher Heights HiFi Sound System – modelled after classic dub speaker stacks with some minor tweaks to better suit the intimate space.
Private Functions
We are available for private functions of almost every sort.
We share the space with KHAO SE TO a take-
out & catering food company that can provide food for private functions.
Food from outside providers is also permitted.
